In the 4th milennium BC, a ghost population formed a new culture zone in South of the Transcaucasia. We don’t know what they called themselves, but today, we simply call them Proto Indo Europeans.
Proto Indo Europeans were patriarchal sedentary farmers. They tamed dogs and made agriculture. And it seems Proto Indo Europeans produced the first wines becuase we recorded so many loanwords from the nearby language families. Also, we know they got Taurus from the Semitic people.
Linguistically, they categorized the entire world as alive or unalive. Because of the lack of technology, they didn’t have words for some tools like wheel and wagon. They made early word trades with Semitic, Elamite and Caucasian languages.
So what made them spread all over the northern steppes?
